65% of the Otways is not sawlog economic under Commonwealth regulations

The following applies the Commonwealth definition of sawlog driven to areas approved for logging on the 2001/2002 wood utilisation plan. Results show 65% of the Otway area available for logging in 2001/2002 was not sawlog economic using by the Commonwealth governments own regulations.
