Forests
Immediate halt to logging in all old growth and water catchment forest,
as well as logging in any forest or woodlands of an endangered type.
Incorporation of these forests into National Parks.
Limiting logging in all other forest to a level that can be sustained
in the long term.
Improve eco and adventure tourism within the state’s parks along
the New Zealand model. Upgrade walking tracks to encourage trekking.
